Managing vendor relationships and purchase workflows can be tedious—especially when switching between Zoho CRM and Zoho Books. To solve this, we’ve developed a custom Zoho CRM widget for the Vendor module that allows you to handle purchase orders (POs) quickly and efficiently—right inside CRM.

🔑 Key Features

âś… 1. Create Purchase Orders Instantly

From the vendor record in Zoho CRM, users can:

  • Click “Save as Draft” to create a draft PO in Zoho Books.

  • Click “Send PO” to create and immediately submit the PO for approval.

This eliminates double entry and saves time by keeping everything in one workflow.

đź“„ 2. Upload Attachments to POs

Users can upload documents like quotes, vendor agreements, or receipts directly to the related PO in Zoho Books—keeping everything accessible and organized.

🗂️ 3. View POs and Related Bills with Year Filter

The widget lists all existing purchase orders for the vendor.

  • Users can expand a PO to view related bills, giving full financial visibility.

  • A year filter helps narrow results for easier navigation and analysis.

âž• 4. Add Line Items or Use Descriptions

PO creation is flexible:

  • Click the “+” icon to launch a popup where users can create a new item in Zoho Books. After it’s created, it’s automatically added as a line item to the PO.

  • Alternatively, just enter a description if the PO doesn’t require itemized entries—ideal for service-based purchases.
